It pays to take a break

Welcome to the health and wellness section of Cure for Mondays. Happy is a word that we all want attached to our lives, but as we know it, the only way to happiness is good health. We may find ourselves failing sometimes and  and may continue moving towards the (unhealthy and easy) course that is familiar to us. Prassad, the yoga teacher I learned Ashtanga from in Cambodia told me, "Push yourself and if you continue doing this you will become better everyday." The first step always is learning how to communicate with your body. It's the same with our life choices. It may not be easy, but if we decide to consciously make the right choices everyday, we're eventually going to get there--the blissful side of our universe.
